ART III ~ Fine Art
I'm calling this page "Fine Art" for now, because I can't decide what to really call it. ("Serious Art" maybe?)
These pieces are different than all my other work, and don't fit into the "illustrator" category at all.
So for now will we will just go with "Fine Art", until I think of something better.
This series started with this piece, "Diversity"
This is 11 x 17 inches, done with colored pencils and a little graphite, on illustration board.
After this I did 2 more smaller pieces, sort of in the same theme, called "Meditation 1" and "Meditation 2".
Each of these pieces is 5 x 7 inches, and done with Polychromo colored pencils on illustration board.
I enjoy the process of applying the pencil slowly, in many layers, and find it to be very meditative, hence the titles.
I like doing abstracts which are sort of architectural, and have a penchant for stripes.
I am looking forward to doing more pieces in this series and in this style.
